As the temperature drops and we slowly approach winter (and Christmas!) I find myself gravitating more and more towards comfy knits. If I’m not wrapping myself in an oversized blanket scarf I’m bundled up in a sweater on a day to day basis. Every morning I find myself once again reaching for my sweater drawer as comfort and warmth become my top priorities. Sometimes I feel guilty for neglecting the rest of my wardrobe, but then I remind myself they’ll get plenty of love come Spring and Summer. Besides, is there anything more comforting than wrapping yourself in warm, oversized sweater on a chilly day? (Ok maybe some hot cocoa by the fire!)

This cobalt H&M sweater is one of my absolute favourites. Not only for it’s eye-catching colour, but also the oversized fit and relaxed turtleneck. There’s nothing quite as comfortable as it in my wardrobe, and I find myself wearing it over and over. The nice thing about this sweater (besides the $30 price tag) is that it can be worn not only with jeans and leggings, but also as a sweater dress (bonus points for versatility).
I love mixing neutrals with a pop of colour, and especially love pairing cobalt with camel. To keep myself warm in this chilly Toronto weather I wore my vintage Coyote fur trimmed coat, as well as a camel beret & gloves that were both from H&M a few years back. The purse is a fairly recent purchase that I got on sale at Aldo. I love the structure & colour of the bag.. unfortunately it’s not the kind of bag you can pair with everything. I only wish I could get away with using it more often!
