While the title may suggest it I’m sad to tell you I’m not actually in Paris (wah!)… but I did get this beautiful silk scarf in Paris a few years back. I’ve recently become obsessed with scarves and the different ways you can style and wear them. I don’t know if the fact that my accessory of choice lately is a silk scarf means I’ve officially hit old lady status, but I love the way they make almost any outfit look polished and incredibly chic. There’s so many ways to tie a scarf and it’s fun experimenting with all the different looks.
In the spirit of all things French (as this was clearly my theme that day.. though it was unintentional!) I met up with a friend Sunday afternoon for at La Societe French Bistro in Yorkville. La Societe is one of my favourite brunch spots in the city. I absolutely love the atmosphere, adorable french decor, and the food is always exceptional. We caught up over coffee and brunch (I had the quiche which was served with summer leaves, pommel lyonnaise and champagne truffle vinaigrette.. which was fantastic. She had the Parisian Ham eggs Benedict) before heading out for a walk through the (very scenic) grounds of the University of Toronto followed by a little window shopping on Bloor.

How amazing does this brunch look?
