I’m a girl who tends to be over-dressed rather than under-dressed more often than not. Dressing up is so much fun, and I’m always looking for the next event or excuse to throw on something a little fancier than normal. But even though I love dressing up, my off duty style tends to be a lot more relaxed and casual. Because let’s face it… as much as us girls love a good pair of sky high heels (hello longer legs!) sometimes we just need to be super comfortable and throw on a pair of sneakers. Even a girl who loves dressing up needs to take a break and slip into something a little more comfortable now and then. My converse are my go-to sneakers for those days I’m planning on walking a lot and know my feet need to last. They’re super comfortable and I love the classic style. I paired my converse with a pencil skirt and classic T-shirt, with my favourite red JCrew plaid shirt tied around the waist just in case it got a little chillier in the evening and to add a little pop of colour to the outfit.
By the way how cute is this little store? I was walking around Mirvish Village with a close friend after a particularly rough day and we passed by this cute little movie poster & book store. Of course, being an actress myself and obsessed with everything film related I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop for photos. The fact that my outfit matched the store was just an added bonus!
