Where to Stay in Montreal: Hotel Place D’Armes

Ahh Montreal… what a beautiful city with such a vibrant culture, stunning architecture, amazing food scene, and just overall joie de vivre. You may be surprised to know that in the 3 years I’ve lived here in Toronto, up until July I hadn’t been to Montreal even ONCE. I know, crazy right? It’s only a quick hour flight away or a 5.5 hour drive, but somehow I never made the effort to get out there. Luckily though I managed to make up for lost time and have had the opportunity to visit Montreal twice this summer. Most recently I headed…

Charming with Thomas Sabo

There’s something so personal about charm bracelets. I mean, you basically get to customize a piece of jewelry by hand selecting charms that are meaningful to you and where you are in your life; something you want to remember, qualities you attribute to yourself, your values, favourite things, or what have you. I absolutely love the concept of them and I love that you get to wear something that is meaningful, unique, and represents everything wonderful that makes up you. Recently I got the opportunity to customize my own charm bracelet thanks to Thomas Sabo in Yorkdale Mall, and it…

The Perfect Weekend Getaway: Niagara Falls

You might be surprised to find out that this was my first visit to Niagara Falls. Considering it’s so close (literally 2 hours away) you really would think that in the almost three years that I’ve lived here in Toronto, at some point I would have made a trip out there. To be honest, I always had the impression that Niagara was really just a super touristy town with water falls and with nothing much to do.. but boy was I wrong. While Niagara is definitely a tourist destination (and very touristy), I didn’t realize just how much there was…

Instagram Outfit Roundup – July 6

Somehow it’s already been over a month since my last Instagram outfit roundup, so this one is definitely long overdue. If there’s one thing you’ll learn from this month’s round up it’s that I wear my white Aldo sandals and sunglasses literally EVERYWHERE. I guess it goes to show that when you love something it’s hard to wear anything else lol. I will say though those cat-eye sunglasses are not only super chic and on-trend right now, but incredibly affordable at only $16 a pop (link below). And the sandals are the kind of shoes you can wear all day…

Montreal for F1 with Chandon

A couple weeks ago I got the opportunity of a lifetime to head off to Montreal for Formula 1 with Chandon. For those of you that don’t know (shame!!) what Chandon is, it’s a delicious sparkling wine from Napa Valley under the Moet-Hennessy umbrella. I like to think of Chandon as the perfect summer sipper, but realistically it’s great year round and absolutely doesn’t require special occasion to enjoy… Although let me tell ya, there’s something about drinking it in a new city that makes it that much better! While our Montreal trip was short and sweet, we got the…
