The last day of World Mastercard Fashion Week was a cold one so I was super excited to finally get the chance to pull out this gorgeous coyote fur coat I snagged at 69 Vintage here in Toronto. I know fur is (still) a controversial topic for some and many have made the personal choice to nix fur from their wardrobes. I however have a deep down love for it. In order to make myself feel a little bit better about my choice to wear fur I always make sure to buy my furs vintage. I get a little peace of mind knowing that I am extending the life of fur that is pre-owned rather than purchasing something brand new.

It was love at first sight as soon as I walked into 69 Vintage and saw this coat hanging on display on the wall. I had had absolutely no intentions of purchasing anything that day, but then I saw the coat. So I walked out of the store with a little more pep in my step, probably because my wallet was considerably lighter, but I was happy nonetheless. And I can’t wait to wear the heck out of it during the coldest of winter days.
When I saw this skirt at H&M I was immediately drawn to the pattern and A-line shape (again, seriously impressed with some of the stuff I have found there lately). Anyone who knows me well would tell you I have a love for statement skirts and I knew I had to add this one to my collection. I wanted to keep the focus of the outfit on the skirt so I paired it with a simple black T-shirt and pumps. These painted wood earrings were a no-brainer (at only about $10 how could I even think twice?) and were also from H&M.
The sunglasses I had the opportunity to wear that day are Judith Leiber from Kalten Bock. I love the classic, vintage vibe they have with the light frames and cat-eye shape. There is also a gorgeous gemstone detailing on the sides of the frames that I wish I had gotten closer pictures of. I was so lucky to get the opportunity to represent Kalten Bock and wear some of their amazing sunglasses during Fashion Week. All the eyewear there is carefully selected and they truly carry a wonderful selection of very unique pieces. I’ll definitely be going back there for my next pair of sunglasses!
